Brevard County Florida is home to the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, this buffer zone between NASA’s quest for space exploration at the Kennedy Space Center peacefully co-exisists between Space Shuttle launches and unmanned missile launches from the U.S. Air Force Station. This area provides an unspoiled habitat for migratory birds and natural wildlife as well as educational, environmental and recreational activities for our community.

Brevard County’s public schools provide a high quality education and are consistently rated above the state average. Brevard Community College, with campuses in the central, north, and south areas of the county, along with the University of Central Florida and Rollins College, provide an superb educational environment. Florida Institute of Technology also has a full campus in Brevard County Florida.
Brevard County Recreation & Entertainment
Brevard County Florida parks and recreation departments supply plenty of places for family entertainment, along with private businesses, and recreational facilities such as championship golf courses, racquetball courts, sports parks, skateboard parks, an ice-skating rink, beaches and lake-side parks. Also, Brevard County Florida is the spring training home of the Florida Manatees baseball team. Port Canaveral has a thriving cruise ship industry.
